Sensational
October 26, 2019
This article read like a sensational opinion piece. I agree with much of what author Emily Bell has to say, but there's a definite bias against Facebook and use of dramatic language. For example, "Now, on the Paley Center stage, the air was filled with the ambrosial aroma of cash-infused amity."

Pure Opinion
October 27, 2019
Definitely speculation and opinion, which it was possibly meant to be. The author is director of Digital Journalism at Columbia and it appears on Columbia Journalism Review website Since the writer is an expert on digital journalism, I would say they are making an educated opinion. But it is opinion and not necessarily true. There is much speculation and bias against News Corp. since the first "snarky" opinion is about how much money it took for the news organization to sell-out.

Slippery Slope
October 27, 2019
This article has a lot of glaring issues. The first issue is that there are basically zero facts beyond the public record statements. The second issue is the fact that the article is rife with sensationalism and speculation. The last issue is the glaring tone of slippery slope from start to finish.
