Well Sourced

A good way to be introduced to Canadian politics. If like me you are not experts in this regard and you want to get some information about the candidates, this is certainly a good way to get to know Justin Trudeau better.

Credible

Seems funny to review this now knowing the election outcomes, but yes they were right that it was a close race. The only fault I take with this article is that many Americans might not realize how different elections in Canada are from in the US so the US audience (which I believe NPR targets since it is a national public radio station) might get the wrong impression that people are voting directly for Trudeau when they're really voting for his party. It's a parliamentary system. I feel like those differences are essential to really get what's being talked about here.

Great Context

This article does a great job providing the context that would be missing to many readers who are not as familiar with Canadian politics. I left this article feeling like I understand the situation with our neighbors in the north, and the author made sure to present the information in a balanced way.
