As is its wont, the outlet, in title and screed, provides a gossipy piece of something or other based on this or that. When "reading" something of this nature one is reminded of Truman Capote's, "I don't like to spread gossip, but what else are you going to do with it". Not a worthwhile read unless prospective readers are intrigued by the indiscretions and improprieties of the celebrity class.

This article smacks of "me too" sensationalism. The only claimed source is a book written by Ronan Farrow, and there are a few statements from NBC Execs denying any record of previous wrong doing.
More credible evidence is required to clear the bar of reasonable skepticism in my mind.

Lack of Reliable Sources

This article doesn't provide enough evidence or cited sources and relies on sensational language to and framing to establish the story. For example, beginning the piece with "Disgraced “Today” anchor Matt Lauer" is not helpful and is too heavy-handed for my liking.
