There are several groups in Indy that are focused on bringing people together, building community, and creating opportunities for people to make friends in the city. 
    
    
This group on social media is all about women creating friendships in the Circle City. It recently launched in January and has several upcoming events including a Galentine’s Get Together on Saturday, Feb. 17, a Mom Meet Up on Tuesday, Feb. 20, and Book Club on Wednesday, Feb. 28. If you’re into fitness or just want an accountability buddy to help you stay active, November Project is a free outdoor workout club that meets downtown on Wednesday and Friday mornings — “just show up.” Follow the group on social media to find out the location for Friday mornings. YPCI is a networking group for young professionals in the Indianapolis area with more than 600 members. The organization aims to connect, empower, and help shape Indy’s next generation of leaders. You can become a member for $75 per month for free access to its events or you can get tickets to its monthly Coffee at the Top and Happy Hour events for $10-$15 per event. 
    
    
Hot Walk Indy is a social walking club “for the girls, gays + theys.” The group has already hosted 30+ organized walks and social gatherings all around the city.
