The 2024 Texas Tech football season will be here before you know it, and they just announced what the themes will be for this year’s home games.
Some of these themes include what colors fans should expect to wear in the stands, but more information on whether you should wear red, black, or white will be revealed in the weeks prior to each game.
The Ag Game promotion is part of a partnership between the athletics department and the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and National Resources.
Just like the popular Red Raider chant, Texas Tech will split Jones AT&amp;T Stadium in half by asking the west side to wear black and the east side to wear red. Texas Tech will also recognize its energy partners throughout the game.
They will host their annual Parents and Family Weekend promotion during this game.
This will be Texas Tech’s Homecoming where alumni from all over will return to Lubbock for a weekend of fun. A full list of Homecoming events will be announced in the weeks prior to the game.
TTU will continue their tradition of honoring those who have fought for our country with the Celebrate America Game. This will also be Texas Tech’s Hall of Fame weekend where the 2024 class will be honored at halftime.
Texas Tech will honor its senior class before kickoff with a ceremony featuring head coach Joey McGuire and the families of each senior player.
