After&nbsp;postponing for a year,&nbsp;Hub City Comic Con is returning to Lubbock this Summer for an unforgettable geeky weekend.
With everything you can expect from a classic comic convention, there will be a variety of panels to enjoy, vendors to shop from, and amazing special guests to meet. This will all take place at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on August 24th and 25th, 2024.
These guests are all iconic voice actors from a variety of anime, tv shows, movies, and video games. Some of them include Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee from The Fairly Odd Parents, Nazeeh Tarsha and Katelyn Barr from Kaiju no. 8 and My Hero Academia, Janet Varney who voices Korra from The Legend of Korra, and more.
They will have 100+ vendors selling apparel, figurines, artwork, and more. You can also participate in or view the cosplay contest, which is a great way to appreciate all the hard work people put into their cosplays.
You can purchase day passes, weekend passes, or VIP passes at hubcitycomiccon.com. Keep in mind kids 8 and under are free, so feel free to bring the whole family.
The con opens on Saturday, the 24th, at 9:30 a.m. and on Sunday, the 25th, at 10:30 a.m. More information about the convention is available on their official website and Facebook.
