If you haven't heard of this perplexing story yet, the New York Times provides nearly all the context available at the time. It details the contract given, the scope of work, and includes quotes from Puerto Rico officials, the owner of Whitefish Energy, the Department of Interior and more, making this a trusted article.

Like others have mentioned, this article provides all the context that is currently available. I'll look forward to seeing more articles on this topic on Tribeworthy to determine the validity or morality of this deal with Puerto Rico.

A very balanced report from the New York Times. I have a feeling they will be doing more investigative work into this story until they uncover any pay-to-play corruption or backroom dealings, which seem to be the case. This is a responsible and tame article from the New York Times, who I'm glad to see didn't become speculative or begin a witch hunt without first acquiring further evidence.
