Police are targeting red-light dodgers at what the force says has become a collision blackspot. And cops have caught out a number of motorists ignoring the lights telling them to stop around Uxbridge Street's junction with Evershed Way.  It comes as officers with East Staffordshire Local Policing Team say there have been a number of crashes in the area. Meanwhile those caught going through on red have been issued with a Section 172 notice.  Such a notice will appear in the post and represents a legal requirement for the motorist to provide details to the force over the alleged offence. A spokesperson for the local policing team said: "Officers from Burton and Uttoxeter neighbourhood team have recently been patrolling around the Uxbridge Street area following recent road traffic collisions and the offence of people gambling at the lights. "A number of Section 172 notices have been sent to the registered keeper of vehicles who have been seen to be doing the above.
