The Sevilla academy graduate steered home a superb finish thanks to a cross from full-back Alberto Moreno.
Tensions would then become obvious on the pitch as both sides battled hard to retain possession, but the second goal for Sevilla would come when Unai Emery’s side struck with 15 minutes left on the clock.

Moreno would provide the assist once more as he found Colombian striker Bacca, who smashed the ball past helpless Betis keeper Antonio Adan.
Sevilla had pulled the game back, meaning the tie would then advance to extra time, and the 30 minute period would prove to be a nail biting tense affair.
Neither team could snatch the win though, meaning it would be a dreaded penalty shoot-out to decide the result.
Vitolo would miss the opening penalty for Sevilla, before Ruben Castro slotted home for Betis, and it looked likely that the home side would advance.
However, Alfred N’Diaye and Nono missed to turn the shoot-out on its head, and Sevilla would advance.
