Nice article on a light subject. It's really interesting to see from the point of view of an artist of thirty years ago what the future would have looked like. Nice read, and really nice painting representation of what has yet to be experienced.

A bittersweet tale of what could have been mixed with a brief mixture of art and science. The facts of moon astrogeology and atmosphere are for the most part accurate despite a source. While it may be somber to think of what moonbases may have been, it should be remembered that the moon is a harsh environment where ultra-sharp dust can percolate into any crack in a spacesuit or the mentioned lack of atmosphere allows deadly high-energy rays from the sun to impact the surface. The moon is as deadly as it is serene in this picture.

I love this story. Unfortunately, there aren't many news-relevant criteria that apply to grading this article. Seemed to be written clearly and trustworthy, yet I wouldn't say that it is necessarily "news." Food read, otherwise.

A very sweet story about a man who painted todays eclipse a long time ago. Not very substantive, but fun.

This was a great article about a fun perspective on the upcoming solar eclipse, and a nice story about futuristic and cosmic art. I found myself thinking about this article long after reading it, even though it's somewhat surface-level information. I posted this article under Culture rather than Science solely because I think it is meant to add a fresh perspective to a cultural, and yes of course, scientific phenomenon.
