Holy moly, there’s only a few more weeks left in our apartment until we get into our new house!  With that being said, the inside of the apartment is a disaster due to purging, organizing, and packing.  However, our front apartment door looks like a million bucks 😆!  While I continue my mission inside…I hope you enjoy “How to Decorate a Cute Apartment Door for Spring” on the outside (all sources listed under images).
From the apartment hall everything looks normal…but trust me, our apartment is not up for visitors 😉.  You may have noticed I haven’t been posting as much and that is because I have been busy getting ready for our transition from the apartment to the house.  
We have everything set up for the move on 5/28, and beginning on 4/28 we will be busy cleaning the house, and getting the painters and carpet folks in.  We also have a few more people coming for estimates for things like a big fireplace transformation, garage epoxy floor makeover, and even a door wall install.  So, yes…lots to prepare, and organize until the big move on 5/28.
In the mean time, I hope you enjoy how I decorated our apartment door…
I must say, decorating the apartment door has been way more fun than I expected.  I find that most people ignore their apartment door😲, but I think it’s a treat walking through the halls checking out how everyone likes to decorate.  I say have some fun with it to brighten your neighbors day.
I’ve listed most of the sources of everything I used under the photos, but my favorite is the thrift store wood “welcome” sign I scored for $3.99 (and got my senior discount on top of that).  I run into wood signs at the thrift store all the time, so check it out.  All I had to do to this one, was clean it with a disinfectant wipe, let it dry, and then wipe it with a little olive oil to give it a richer color.  BOOM!  All the greens are faux of course because there is no sunlight…  
I gotta tell you I searched forever to find a  faux wreath that did it for me.  I’m not into floral wreaths too much, and ended up with this faux “boxwood” that can be used for summer, too.  The bow was attached in a different way that I didn’t like, so I took it off and used it to hang the wreath using this clear removable hook.
I just realized that I prefer to hang my wreath a little lower than most.  I’m not sure why that is…maybe because I’m only 5′ 4″!  I’ll be back soon…stay tuned for the big transition to our next home because I will be sharing everything 😊
