NorthJersey.comView CommentsAs testing becomes more widely available, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco announced that mobile saliva and antibody testing for COVID-19 would be brought to additional locations in the county.The Bergen County/Bergen New Bridge Medical Center community mobile testing program will offer opportunities to be tested in Fort Lee, Teaneck, Lodi and Dumont this week.In the first week of the program, more than 2,000 residents were tested in Englewood, Hackensack, Fairview and Garfield, Tedesco said in a press release.The tests will be available on Tuesday in Fort Lee, Wednesday in Teaneck, Thursday in Lodi and Friday in Dumont. The testing is done weather permitting.COVID-19:COVID-19:All upcoming community mobile testing sites will offer the COVID-19 saliva and antibody tests. The saliva test is available to symptomatic and asymptomatic county residents as well as first responders, health care workers, and municipal or county employees who work in Bergen County, with proof of employment, Tedesco said.Due to demand, antibody testing will be limited to 100 per day and will be available only for Bergen County first responders, health care workers, and Bergen County residents who previously tested positive for COVID-19 with documentation of prior test results. All mobile site patients will be limited to a choice of either the saliva or antibody test.First responders are eligible to receive priority testing from 9 to 10 a.m., and the site will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Mobile testing is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is free of charge to the patient, regardless of health insurance status.Katie&nbsp;Sobko&nbsp;is a local reporter for NorthJersey.com.
