Among them is a New Deal-era landmark on the brink of demolition.The Fort Lee Post Office was built in 1938. Its age is validated by the thick white paint on its wooden trim. Brick on the outside and tile&nbsp;inside, the federal project features four large-scale Henry Schnakenberg murals&nbsp;depicting the borough's history. for preservation,&nbsp;at a cost of $200,000, but they plan to demolish the Colonial Revival post office.
