I mean, on one hand, this article does indeed match the title (why Labour expects a spring election), and comments how the party is putting the finishing touches on a manifesto. Unfortunately, the author fails to provide any evidence of Labour differentiating itself whatsoever from the ruling Tories. Probably because a conservative like Keir Starmer is incapable of embracing any actual change. This makes the whole commentary rather pointless; why bother with an election if your two options are identical?
