Although it has some counterpoints, the article goes along with the idea that plant-based meat is good for society overall and ends up not developing important counterarguments for the reader. Firstly, because it presents, in the first part of the article, a diet full of fried and unhealthy food for the population as if it were something very cool. Secondly, it emphasizes a lot that this type of soy-based diet is good for the environment, ignoring that soy plantations, the raw material mentioned in the article, are responsible for a significant portion of the wildfires occurring today in Latin America, including the Brazilian Cerrado and the Amazon, which is also detrimental to the environment and causes climate changes.
