AdvertisementJoe Biden has said a lot of concerning things during his time in office.&nbsp;But perhaps none has been so detached from reality and so thoroughly debunked as the story about the Amtrak conductor, Angelo Negri.&nbsp;AdvertisementWe were one of the first to debunk the story back in May 2021, and my story on it was even cited by CNN in a fact check on Biden. Even they accepted at that point that the story couldn't possibly have happened. The gist of the story is Biden claimed that he reached over a million miles on Air Force Two while VP, and he told this to Angelo Negri on the Amtrak train when he was going home to visit his mother, who was sick.&nbsp;The problem? The timing of a million miles on Air Force Two didn't come until 2015. Angelo Negri retired in 1993 and was dead by 2015. Joe Biden's mother died in 2010.&nbsp;Yet he's still telling the story more than two years later. He's told the story many times between 2021 and now. He's still talking about how Negri pinched his cheek and said, "Joey, baby!" alarming the Secret Service agents protecting him. Not only did he tell it again, but he told it twice in less than an hour.&nbsp;Then, when he got to the formal remarks, he first did that weird thing where he tells people, "Don't jump." It wasn't funny the first time. If I can know he's going to do it, why don't his people know it and stop him? Maybe they have said something to him. In the first clip, Biden notes that maybe he shouldn't mention Angelo Negri's name. He says that again in the second clip, noting he wouldn't say his full name — I think maybe because they've said something to him, at least this time. He seems to think that the only problem is saying Negri's name. He doesn't seem to understand all the problems with the story — and then he tells the story twice anyway.&nbsp;AdvertisementThis demonstrates his people aren't able to stop him from being detached from reality. That's a scary thought when he's allegedly the leader of the free world. He's telling a fake story that even involves his mother, who was already dead. He's talking about seeing two people who were both dead. Who makes up stuff about their mother like that? It's disturbing that no matter how many times it's been debunked, he keeps trying to buffalo people about it.&nbsp;It's disturbing enough to think he's being controlled because he's incoherent. But obviously, they aren't completely controlling all his crazy if they keep letting this go on. That's perhaps even worse: that he may be saying and doing things that they can't even stop. &nbsp;So there's no one at all at the wheel.
