Motorist Kyle even captured video of Clyde Cabulisan, 29, fighting a responding officer, police added to KLAS. He even told police he saw flashing lights and thought he’d had an accident when he looked closer – a naked man walking “casually” in the street. “You have a cop and a naked guy,” Even remarked to KLAS during a phone interview Wednesday morning. “I thought he was going to be handcuffed and thrown to the ground.” The officer seemed somehow protective [the naked man] of someone coming through and beating him.” Soon after, the naked man – Cabulisan – got into the Metro Ford F-150 patrol vehicle and drove off, police said. “I was just glad the cop didn’t get run over,” Even remarked to the guard. “It’s like a real Grand Theft Auto.” Cabulisan drove north on Rainbow, with officers pursuing him for more than five miles, police told KLAS. He then crossed the center line, crossed into oncoming traffic and ran a red light on Hacienda Avenue before crashing into the passenger side of a Ford Explorer about 11:15 p.m., police said. A 34-year-old woman driving the Explorer and her 43-year-old male passenger suffered serious injuries and were taken to the trauma unit at University Medical Center, police told KLAS. The male passenger told the station he was partially paralyzed and suffered other injuries. Cabulisan was also hospitalized with numerous injuries, KLAS reported. Cabulisan faces four charges: robbery, driver disobedience to peace officer and endangering person/property, grand larceny of a motor vehicle and assault on a protected person, the station said, adding that he is making his first appearance in Las Vegas on Thursday should judicial court.
