This article explains the current hydrogen market and the different ways to produce it. In addition there is a lot of solid information about the energy sector and fossil fuels that hydrogen can replace. They also state that renewables can't carry the world's load yet, and hydrogen can help fill in. A lot of good information and context in this that gives a clear view about the potential for hydrogen.
