This is why good writing is so essential to news reporting. There is a lot here that is important, but it is written in such a meandering way that it is difficult to parse what matters and what is just unsubstantiated observations. There is very little thrust in this copy to drive towards a purpose; it is more hand-wringing over a general 'feeling' of crisis. This guy should hire a copywriter.
