SHE DIED LATER THAT DAY AT A HOSPITAL. PHYSICALLY BOBBITT'S DAUGHTER IS FINE -- BUT EMOTIONALLY SHE AND HER THREE SIBLINGS ARE STRUGGLING -- THE YOUNGEST NOT EVEN 2 YEARS OLD.  &lt;"THEY DON'T HAVE A MOM TO DO HAPPY THINGS WITH FOR MOTHER'S DAY."&gt; DES MOINES POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR THIS MAN -- ANTONIO MARKEZ HODGES. THEY SAY THIS WAS A TARGETED SHOOTING AND BELIEVE HODGES IS STILL IN THE AREA.  &lt;"HE HAD WARRANTS PRIOR TO THIS AND NOW HE'S GOT THIS MATERIAL WITNESS WARRANT AND SOMEWHERE SOMEBODY IS HELPING HIDING HIM OUT."&gt; THE SEARCH FOR HODGES WAS A FOCUS WHEN BOBBITT'S FAMILY SPOKE ON SATURDAY NEAR HER MEMORIAL. WENDY VASQUEZ ISN'T ANGRY.  SHE SAYS SHE ALREADY LOST ONE SON TO GUN VIOLENCE -- AND NOW HER DAUGHTER. Catherine Bobbitt, 33, was killed in her car on April 3. Her family is calling for answers.The Des Moines Police Department is searching for a suspect. Catherine Bobbitt's mother, Wendy Vasquez, just wants help in the search, asking anyone who knows anything about the shooting to speak up. Vasquez will never get to share another Mother's Day with her daughter Bobbitt again. Bobbitt's daughter said she's emotionally struggling with her three siblings. Her youngest sibling is not even 2 years old. "They don't have a mom to do happy things with for Mother's Day," Vasquez said. Des Moines police are looking for Antonio Markez Hodges. They said this was a target shooting and believe Hodges is still in the area. "He had warrants prior to this, and now he's got this material witness warrant, and somewhere, somebody is helping hiding him out," said Sgt. Paul Parizek, with the Des Moines Police Department. Vasquez isn't angry. "I do not hate this man," Vasquez said.She said she already lost one son to gun violence and now her daughter. Vasquez said enough is enough."There comes a point where you have to convert your own pain to action to improve the community," Vasquez said. Her plea matches that of the group Mothers Against Violence, who stood by her side. "Is it worth you hiding somebody and knowing information and not saying something? I don't think so," said Sylia Jefferson, with Mothers Against Violence. Saturday was Vasquez's first time speaking because she wants justice, not just for her daughter, but for her grandchildren. "I don't know how to support them myself," Vasquez said. Vasquez tells KCCI both Trinity Las Americas and the Des Moines Valley Friends Meeting have set up funds to help with schooling costs for her grandchildren. There’s no direct link for them and she says as far as she knows, both organizations would have to be contacted.
