That man is James Maddison. The 26-year-old joined came to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from relegated side Leicester for £40m – which is looking like a bit of a steal right now. He’s been amongst the Premier League’s top performers since arriving in the summer. However, a statistic reveals he’s always well up there amongst Europe’s top players as well. Maddison is joint top of the pile for the most assists in Europe’s major leagues this season so far. The English playmaker has already registered four assists, not to mention the two goals he’s picked up along the way.These assists have contributed greatly to Tottenham‘s unbeaten start to the campaign, which also puts the squad as a whole right there with Europe’s elite sides.We’ll reiterate – Maddison is joint top, so who joins him?Maddison joins an elite list of names on four assists this season, including:Some star-studded names on there.
