The author writes an overall description of "the US is starving and killing Venezuelans in real life and, for your family’s viewing pleasure, on television screens". “Imperialism is quite bipartisan and liberal Hollywood never saw propaganda it didn’t want to hype.” Venezuelan Culture Minister Ernesto Villegas took to Twitter on Thursday evening to describe the show as: “Crass war propaganda disguised as entertainment.”
I believe this criticism of Hollywood's involvement over time with the US war machine is valid, but I would have appreciated a more well sourced argument then what the article presents.
