To decorate this space, I wanted to keep the boho/tropical theme of my living room so I decorated with hints of blue, seashell prints (or objects), and things that remind me of the ocean.In this apartment kitchen, we have a ton of cabinet space for the amount of things we have. Above the fridge is all of our alcohol that doesn’t fit on the bar cart. Next to that is all of our cups, glasses, and mugs. Above the microwave is spices we rarely use and extra storage. To the right is our plates, bowls, baking tools, extra coffee, blenders, etc.In the bottom cabinets are our plasticware, pots and pans, and baking sheets. Under the sink we keep our garbage bags, cleaning supplies, and extra light bulbs and candles.We are lucky enough to have a pantry in this apartment! It’s the little things, lol. The last two places we lived had no pantry and we had to store our food in cabinets, which is very inconvenient. Our pantry is the door next to the bar cart.Another thing we are very lucky to have is a brand new apartment. We are the first to live in this unit so we had unused appliances that were sparkling clean. I can’t say they have stayed that way but it’s a nice upgrade from the last two places we live, which were pretttty old.My favorite piece of decor/furniture is that fruit basket stand! I always struggle with remembering what fruits or vegetables I have and this is a great way to store them so that I know exactly what I have. I eat avocado toast every single day for breakfast so I need to know if I have avocados! My second piece of decor that I love is the white board. I write down any blog post or video ideas I have, to-do lists, or what’s planned for dinner.Funny story: I tried hanging that white board 4 times with Command Strips (sticky velcro that’s used for hanging pictures without ruining walls). I put so many strips on it and it fell all 4 times, mostly in the middle of the night so it was terrifying. I finally got a metal hook that nailed into the board and hangs on a nail in the wall. It hasn’t fallen, yet.We didn’t originally plan to have 3 dinosaurs and a goat but Tabi (my sister) had a birthday recently and my brother got her two dinosaurs because he didn’t know we already had some. So we have 6 salt &amp; pepper shakers, no biggie.We recently invested in a Keurig and it is awesome. Of course we got the light blue one, but this thing makes making coffee so easy. I don’t really drink coffee but when I do, I drink Java Babe. Will’s the main coffee drinker in the house. We keep our coffee in jars and I painted that lace on the small one (that’s my coffee jar in case you couldn’t tell, lol). Let me know if you want to see the tutorial!In that big jar is candy that’s usually leftover from holidays that we never end up eating. Don’t know why we even keep it. I used to put pretzels or goldfish or cookies in it.A product I was recently sent to try is the&nbsp;SpongeBath. It is a&nbsp;really cool product that not only stores your sponge but also cleans it! I hate having gross, dirty sponges and this little bathtub-like thing fixes that problem. It comes with a liquid cleaner that you put in the container and then you just put your sponge in the sponge slot and wa-la, it cleans your sponge. When you want to use the sponge, the container it’s in squeezes any excess cleanser out so you’re ready to go.We don’t always have or use sponges so the fact that you can take the sponge squeezer out and put brushes in is something that really intrigued me. You need a place to store your dish brushes and this is it. I hate putting a wet brush on the sink counter after use and I hate leaving it in the sink.I definitely recommend checking out this product, you could also get a metal hook to store the SpongeBath on the edge of your sink if you don’t want it on your counter.We keep some snacks in our seashell bowl on the counter. It also has our hemp seeds and flax seeds. I put the hemp on my avocado toast and we use the flax in pretty much every smoothie we make.
