First of all, my review is biased since the NYT's paywall and hiring have damaged its credibility to new lows. Otherwise it's a decently balanced paper with equally balanced writing. This piece is no exception to that rule, and pulls in quotes from current and former representatives of the BPS to paint a picture - a bad one, but - very clearly. It's a bit of a slam piece, or it may be reaction to my own bias - I've had to interact with BPS in the past, so I'm of course biased - suggesting this piece is a little savage in its criticism. In all, a very good article; and an example of journalism that some at the NYT may still remember proudly.
