Two days later, police received a report that two juveniles brought a gun onto school grounds behind the elementary school on Cottage Street.Police were able to contact the teens, a 13-year-old male and a 14-year old male and determine that the 13-year-old stole the gun from the home. Both boys admitted to their involvement in the incident and were arrested.An investigation determined the firearm was not brought into any school building and no threats were made to the school, other students or community members.The 13-year old was charged with petit larceny as well as possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds and possession of a dangerous weapon by a child.The 14-year-old was also charged with possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds and possession of a dangerous weapon by a child.Neither of the boy's names were provided due to their age, police said. They were released to their families and are due in court at a later date.
