We’ve worked together to build great itineraries (there’s also a 7 day and 10 day option) that will create an amazing culinary adventure for you and your travel partners.This is a private tour so if you’d rather experience the sites and tastes of Marrakech with your own private group instead of a tour bus of strangers it’s a great option to consider.You can book this option any time of year! There are no set dates to work around because this is a private, custom tour!Many international flights arrive to Casablanca so your tour will begin in Morocco’s largest city with a guided visit to the Hassan II Mosque (depending on arrival time and guest requests). If you’d rather have time to yourself to rest on arrival, your guide will meet you in the evening for dinner.Travel from Casablanca to Rabat for a short tour of the capital city before driving onwards to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains of North Morocco. On the way you will stop for a very Moroccan lunch experience of an al fresco grilled meats meal (vegetarian option available).Arrive in Chefchaouan in the evening and have dinner at your leisure.The charming town of Chefchaouan is easy to navigate. Wander the blue streets and enjoy the alleys and hidden stairways. If you’re more into hiking, you can choose to pack a picnic and hike to the nearby waterfall.Dinner tonight will be at a local restaurant making a variety of home cooked Moroccan dishes.Head south to Fez after breakfast. This 4-hour drive winds through the mountains with plenty of scenery to take in. Get settled into your riad on arrival and enjoy a pastilla making class at Pastilla Blu from 5 to 7 pm.&nbsp;Marvel at the carved brass gates at the Royal Palace, walk through the Jewish quarter, meander the narrow busy streets of the Medina. Stop for demonstrations by weavers, carpet knotting, brass hammering and tile and pottery making.Visit the famous tanneries, a UNESCO site and famous for its natural dying methods dating back centuries. You will stop for lunch along the way and return to your riad dazzled by the sights and sounds.In the afternoon you will have free time to try a traditional hamman, do some shopping or just relax at a rooftop cafe and take in the Moroccan air.Dinner is at your leisure tonight.Drive south from Fes and stop in to visit Ifrane, a popular Moroccan ski resort town. Then head south of the city and learn about nomads and their lifestyle. Share a picnic with a nomad family along the way for lunch, or stop in Midelt (weather depending).Arrive in the late afternoon in Arfoud and experience the pleasure of fresh dates. Dinner included at the hotel.&nbsp;Today is your day to live like a native. Travel the dunes, and learn how to make bread in the sand. Yes, in the actual sand! Then meet with some nomads for a musical experience before heading to your camp for the night amidst the dunes.&nbsp;Leave the desert after breakfast and travel through some important oasis and valleys. Stop in to Tinjedad to visit the Berber museum and see some original cooking implements and then head to lunch at El Khorbat to learn about a different kind of bread making.&nbsp;In the afternoon you’ll have time to walk off the carbs in the riverbed at the base of Todgha Gorge.Today is a historical day. You’ll travel through the south, learning about ancient irrigation systems, enjoy lunch at a family home to see the traditional lifestyle and how the family home operates in the south of Morocco.You’ll pass through Ouarzazate and finally arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Not only was this a very important strong hold and meeting post in the south, but it was featured in Game of Thrones!&nbsp;Today you will climb up and over the High Atlas Mountains, crossing North Africas highest pass at 2160m before descending into Marrakech for lunch time. Enjoy a city tour in the afternoon, or free time (your call!) followed by an evening food tour with Marrakech Food Tours.&nbsp;Good morning! Enjoy a laid back breakfast before you’re whisked off to the suburbs of Marrakech to meet a lovely family who will take you to the market to buy fresh produce.
