A very good look at what, on the surface at least, looks to be an intractable problem against an implacable foe. The Author's points are nicely thought out and well-taken. Very relevant contextually as government and policy-makers continue to grapple with the steering wheel of the economy moving forward. Interestingly, the writer takes no ultimate position but skillfully treads along on the middle ground. This is welcome workmanship. A worthwhile read. Four stars!

The author makes some very good points mainly that we are living in a time of uncertainty and what once made sense now needs to be questioned. There is no clear roadmap to the next 6-12 months.

Overall, this is a great look at the pros and cons of reopening restaurants in the United States. As a restaurant owner, I can confirm that many of the questions and concerns mentioned in this piece are exactly what's keeping the industry up at night. This article lost 1 star because of the following inaccurate statement regarding contraction and illness, "Regardless of your state’s stats: if you contract COVID-19, the odds of you getting sick are exactly 100%."
