There, officers learned that two male suspects wearing masks and carrying handguns entered a home’s side garage door before heading to a master bedroom, where they confronted a resident, police said in a statement Tuesday evening.The suspects told the resident to lie down on the floor before ransacking the bedroom, taking jewelry and cash, and leaving. The suspects got into a vehicle driven by a third suspect that left. The resident was unhurt, police said.Police offered only a partial description of the suspects, saying they were black males in their 20s, wearing track suits.Fremont police did not release a vehicle description, but Hercules police said Wednesday that officers responded at 9:49 p.m. Tuesday to an automated license-plate reader hit in Interstate 80 lanes near Appian Way for a gray 2020 Chevy Equinox used in an armed home-invasion robbery.After an officer found the Chevy in the No. 1 lane of eastbound I-80 near Willow Avenue, other officers helped stop it at the Cummings Skyway off-ramp. Its driver, a 23-year-old Antioch man, was detained and found to be on parole for felony evading with injury, police said.
