Dental surgery is already included in the current “elective procedures” mandate from the Arkansas Department of Health.Secretary of Commerce Mike Preston addressed unemployment in the state. He said over 170,000 unemployment claims were filed in Arkansas.Meanwhile, Preston said the state is preparing to take claims for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, part of the CARES Act.He said the state should be able to accept claims from gig-economy workers by the end of the month.
