ONCE THEY'RE BETTER - THEY WILL BE MONITORED IN ANOTHER SECTION OF THE CENTER - - BEFORE FINALLY RETURNING TO THEIR NORMAL SPACE. WOODWARD RESOURCE CENTER IS THE ONLY ONE OF THE SIX DHS FACILITIES WHERE RESIDENTS HAVE TESTED POSITIVE. (CAN I GET A GRAPHIC HERE SHOWING WHICH FACILITIES HAVE CASES AND THE NUMBERS, PLEASE?) AS FOR STAFF MEMBER -- THERE ARE EIGHT THROUGHOUT THE FACILITIES WHO HAVE TESTED POSITIVE SO FAR. SOME ARE STILL WAITING FOR THEIR RESULTS. THE ONLY CENTER THAT HAS NOT HAD A POSITIVE CASE IS GLENWOOD. EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE TESTED POSITIVE CANNOT RETURN TO WORK UNTIL SEVEN DAYS AFTER THEY NOTICED SYMPTOMS-- AND NEED TO BE FEVER FREE FOR AT LEAST 3 DAYS. THOSE INCLUDE SCREENING EMPLOYEES FOR SYMPTOMS ON DAILY BASIS AND GATHERAdvertisementIowa DHS confirms 6 COVID-19 cases at Woodward Resource CenterThe Iowa Department of Human Services said it confirmed six positive COVID-19 cases at the Woodward Resource Center.According to a news release from the Iowa DHS, all residents in the home received test after it confirmed one resident tested positive for the virus.The Iowa DHS said additional testing found five additional cases of COVID-19 amongst residents.Woodward Resource Center residents who test positive for COVID-19 are relocated to an on-campus house designated for positive cases until their health improves.
