Some people are also wearing gloves," Hoyt said. Hoyt said St. Vincent de Paul can hold 1,600 people. He said it would be easy for parishioners to social distance if the church were to reopen and limit the number of people inside. First Landmark Baptist Church in Bentonville held its first parking lot service Sunday. Lead pastor, Terry Simmons, said he hopes his church family can gather again inside the building in the next few weeks. "I miss these people. These people are my family. I've been here for 10 years. I have been here every Sunday with these people for 10 years, and then seven weeks ago, whenever things started, we had to back away. It's kind of like breaking a family relationship," Simmons said. Leaders at both churches said they want to hold in-person services as soon as possible, as long as it is safe to do so.Gov.
