Yonex has given the Exbolt 65 a rating of 10 for repulsion.When I first started playing with the Yonex Exbolt 65, I noticed that shots come off of your racket fast. Drives felt especially nice when&nbsp;I first tried the strings out. Other players in my club commented the same thing. I personally thought it felt like the Yonex BG80 but faster.The Yonex Exbolt 65 is an excellent string for the modern-day badminton playstyle, where people like to play a faster, box-game style involving lots of quick smashes and drives because the shuttle comes off of the strings so quickly.The Exbolt 65 isn’t the best string I’ve ever used regarding power, though. Shots with the Yonex Aerobite still feel more crisp, although it has disadvantages that the Exbolt 65 doesn’t have.When it comes to control, the Exbolt 65 is very good, but not the best. Playing with strings like the Yonex Aerobite, Aerobite Boost, and BG66 Ultimax allows me to get a much better spin and tightness to the net than the Exbolt 65.&nbsp;The Exbolt 65 has a slippery feeling that many control strings don’t have, which makes it more difficult to control your shots.That doesn’t mean the Exbolt 65 isn’t a good string regarding control, though. For the most part, you can still play great shots at a high level, especially considering the way most high-level badminton players play nowadays.Since most people are playing a lot of quick smashes, blocks, and drives, having a string that focuses on making these shots better might be more valuable than one that’ll make your spin nets better.Again, it’s not like the Yonex Exbolt 65 is a lousy string regarding control. You will still do very well with this string.You would think that a string like the Exbolt 65 would be heavily disadvantaged in durability for the power and control it offers, but Yonex has outdone themselves this time and created a string with phenomenal balance.On average, the Yonex Exbolt 65 lasts me about a week and two days of three-hour playing sessions with heavy hitting. I was pleasantly surprised, as I love to hit hard smashes, when I saw that the Exbolt 65 was comparable to other “more durable” strings from Yonex, such as the BG65 Ti and BG65.What’s great is that the Exbolt 65 is durable without sacrificing other aspects of the string. It still gives great power and control even with its high durability.Overall, this Yonex Exbolt 65 badminton string review concludes that the string is an all-around string that offers an outstanding balance of power, control, and durability. It might not be the best in any category, but it offers enough in other categories to make it a great choice.For example, your shots might not be as crisp compared to using the Yonex Aerobite, but the Exbolt 65 will undoubtedly last longer. And while strings like the BG65 will last longer than the Exbolt 65, you’re still getting way better power and control with the Exbolt 65 than the BG65.Have you tried the Yonex Exbolt 65?
