BusinessFamilyFood and drinkLeisureWootton BassettShareNodens Coffee on Royal Wootton Bassett’s High Street will be closing from the end of this month as they prepare to welcome a baby Noden into the world.Owner Rebecca Noden and her husband Steven revealed the news in a post on Facebook.“I’ve been hiding a little bump for a while – it’s my husband and my first and we’re due in January,” announced&nbsp;Rebecca, in Royal Wootton Bassett's community Facebook group.“This does however lead us to some sad news, as we’ve made the difficult decision that it’s time to close Nodens Coffee.“I’m sure this will come as a bit of a shock to many, but after a lot of thought and reflection, I know it’s the right step for us as our lives change next year,” she added.The popular independent café only opened in December 2022, on the first floor above Hoth Kitchens.Despite only being in the town for a short while, it has built up a large fanbase.“Fantastic exciting news for you as a family, but I’m so sad to lose Nodens Coffee. Thank you for all that you have done for our community,” said Sharon Coombs.“I loved that you were a dog-friendly coffee shop&nbsp;– I hope in a couple of years time you set up again in Royal Wootton Bassett and bring that dog-friendly vibe back again,” added Luke Edwards.Resident Sara Trinder described the coffee as simply "the best in Bassett”.Despite the bittersweet ending, Rebecca confirmed that this might not be the last we see of Noden Coffee.“It's not the end, it’s just a pause in the plan. So customers can look out for us in a few years’ time,” she shared.Reflecting on her time in Royal Wootton Bassett’s High Street, the café owner said: “I can’t thank our wonderful customers enough."When I opened, I wasn’t sure if anyone would even come up the stairs and find us.“We’ve absolutely loved being part of the community.
