Pless tells us that traffic studies are only required for any development of 250 homes or greater. This one will only have 89 homes. But residents like Donna Evatt still want to know what’s going to happen when several new developments are using the same few roads."See, they've got another development going in there with a whole bunch more houses, and then adding those houses over there," says Evatt.Evatt says if traffic starts building on North Avenue, people will start using less well kept roads nearby."They will cut out onto that road, someone's going to be speeding up, there's going to be accidents. And then they're going to go up Walker Road, which will put more traffic on Steel Road," says Evatt.And while some Catoosa residents want the county to stick to its rural roots...“We certainly empathize with people who want Catoosa County to stay as it has been for decades," says Pless.For Evatt, she invites the growth, but what it comes down to"Are the sewer systems going to be able to handle that?
