He should of been sent off and went on to score goals and Liverpool won 2-1. (Phil Neville, Tim Howard, Steven Pienaar) get your boots back out lad,” Everton fan John Murray tweeted.“I agree – I will get my boots ready for the replay!” Neville responded, indicating that he agrees that Klopp’s comments are outrageous given the wrong decisions given in Liverpool’s favour over the past. If Everton were to replay every game in which an incorrect decision was given against them, the season would never end.Villarreal away in 2005 springs to mind, with Pierluigi Collina making a much more significant error than the VAR gaffe seen at the weekend, as Everton were knocked out of the Champions League playoffs.Kuyt’s tackle on Neville was made worse by the fact that he went on to score in a 2-1 Liverpool win, and the game could have ended so differently if the correct decision was made.It seems that Phil Neville is keen for a long-awaited replay, let’s see if Dirk Kuyt will oblige.
