The huge MSC Preziosa arrived off-shore at Falmouth in the dark on Tuesday morning, bringing 3,500 passengers to Falmouth in Cornwall.The Fantasia-class cruise ship, approximately 333m long, brought thousands of eager passengers to the southern corner of the West Country, with many disembarking almost immediately to explore the town. While passengers seemed keen to explore the town, they were only treated to brief excursion around the South West coastline.As CornwallLive reports, the cruise ship was only due to spend a single day in Cornwall, the last in an 11-day tour of Western Europe. It was due to leave the town at around 6pm on Tuesday before arriving back in Hamburg, Germany tomorrow (Thursday, October 5).The ship is capable of transporting up to 4,000 passengers in more than 1,600 cabins and is full of family friendly entertainment, including a Smurf-themed play area, teen-only disco, and magnificent theatre.
