I've been very impressed with the Texas Tribune. This article lays out the issue, discusses it in a broader context of university funding, includes examples where controversy has surfaced because of the law, and even ends in a disclosure that some of the parties involved in this affair have been financial supporters of the outlet. 100/100 score for the Tribune. Outstanding reporting.
