Wow. Very dark, frightening article, but very well written. Lots of quotations from subjects involved in the issue (of the government suppressing any form of demonstration or even public gathering), consequences for activists, and the wide-ranging scope of the crackdown. The article included photographs. Excellent journalism on an important topic.
