A very good, balanced report on the status of ride sharing scooters in San Diego and how recent policies to slow them down on sidewalks has essentially killed the industry there. I'm not surprised, as riding a scooter at 3 mph must feel silly when you can walk faster. The author does well to tell both sides of the story in a smooth, readable way.
