He’s also close to his ex-wife’s oldest daughter, Atiana.But prior to legally tying the knot, Travis and Kourtney confirmed they were taking steps to have a child of their own.In an April episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney went into detail about her experience with IVF, admitting it’d been challenging so far. With no immediate success getting pregnant, the reality star admits it put her into a depression."[It’s been] awful," Kourtney admitted in a confessional. " and so my doctor took us down this road of doing IVF and it hasn't been the most amazing experience."The mother-of-three added that the constant speculation from the public has also added to her stress load."Every single person on social media is always like, 'Kourtney's pregnant, Kourtney's pregnant, Kourtney's gained so much weight,’” Kourtney said. “I'm like, it's so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they're actually going through."It’s not just that Kourtney hasn’t had luck getting pregnant. The reality star admitted that she’s been suffering severe side effects from the fertility drugs. In addition to gaining weight, she says it put her into menopause. It’s also taken a toll on her mental health, she revealed"The medication that they've been giving me, they put me into menopause," Kourtney continued. "The medication basically put me into depression."She added, "I think because I'm so clean and careful with what I put into my body, it's just having the complete opposite reaction and is working as a contraceptive instead of helping us."For now, Kourtney has ceased IVF treatments and hasn’t clarified if she’ll resume them in the future.
