Takes a scientific statement like: might lead to, and makes it a declarative statement of cause and effect as if it's been proven. Little in way of evidence, since statistics are reliant upon people who have access, as can be seen from the myopia is apparently increasing more in developed nations. Does not factor in access to eye care could increase how many people get diagnosed and get fixes for issues they would have ignored previously. Most studies documented are inconclusive and yet author is trying to draw conclusions anyway.
