Interesting article about how absence of data can be seen as problematic. Content looks at the underrepresentation of black and latin students in advanced placement courses. The article discusses how courses have been rewritten in an attempt to have better reach within these communities but avoids the social problem that is evident. These subcultures in America have decided that education is not paramount to long-term success and the author has omitted this necessary fact to better comprehend their under performance in educational achievement.
