The article places blame on the system and decision makers for not making all students feel welcome to pursue a career in STEM. The article does not look at students preferences toward social media, entertainment, and fashion as a pursuit to explore their truth. Content does not explain that most people are not naturally attracted to STEM, rather it paints a picture that students are totally unaware that STEM occupations are available to them. Aside from the droning on about the adults are at fault, the article avoids direct, unfounded bias which is a nice change of pace in modern journalism.
