The article is well written but could use more sources. The main source from this article is biased and lacks comprehension on the life cycle of memes. The memes being featured in the article are merely cartoons with labels, hardly memetic. The source acknowledged commercialism can kill the spirit of a meme without mentioning spirit, cringe, or normies. Omission of these important terms decreases credibility when discussing modern meme warfare. The source failed to acknowledge why people attach memes to hated symbols, such as far right or Nazi artifacts. The source basically called far right people stupid rather than comprehending that online activists are slowly removing all forms of non-verbal communication from polite society. Content is well written but leaves the reader wishing for more in-depth, balanced information.
