Content has multiple quotes from reliable sources. One historic phrase should have been quoted to help make water usage in the southwest make sense to readers from elsewhere, "whiskey is for drinking, water is for fighting." The most significant change to the southwest since the original water agreement is not values, it is tremendous population explosion. Fountains and swimming pools have elevated the relative humidity in the Las Vegas area in the past sixty years. Farmers get the blame in this article while a massive influx of people dependent on climate controlled buildings, restaurants, and water-related recreation will go unchecked and unchallenged. Omission is a form of lying that impacts credibility.
