A Japanese international news website comenting on an American politician making a dumb visit to Taiwan...why is this here? Anyways, Pelosi is not known for taking a step back and thinking things through so I am not really surprised.

I thought the article was really good at giving the proper context to everything, that China always says this, what current international policy is, and what might be changing things lately. Just enough current history to understand a bit more the motivations behind the various political pressures.
