I would be in favor of this, for one small detail, the amount of trouble and sub-par work that the law enforcement has been showing in the last 7 eyes don't feel me with confidence about this.

Assumes lobbying is a bad thing, without any information of what police unions are specifically lobbying for or any investigation into candidates' platforms that the unions support. Use the 'general consensus' that unions are what are in the way to police reform with little backing.
