This article does a good job explaining all the good things Hoboken is doing to keep pedestrians safe: bike lanes, curb extensions, bus lanes, high-visibility crosswalks, and raised intersections.

Christopher Robbins does a great job explaining why Hoboken has has zero pedestrian deaths while other burrows are having increased death rates. Hoboken is doing a lot of things right....bike lanes, curb extensions, bus lanes, high-visibility crosswalks, and raised intersections.
