The headline is atrocious and much of the article is misleading, assuming that Musk won't change or simplify the ranking algorithm so that it can be made open source. The article reads as if author Will Knight works at Twitter and is defending or creating excuses to not have to do more work. Not balanced and leans heavily towards the support of current Twitter staff who are of course unlikely and somewhat unwilling to change their ways after over a decade doing the same thing.
