The reporter of this news story did an impressive job in presenting facts and elaborating as to their context and significance. I especially appreciate the side-by-side graphic images, which enable the reader to see exactly what the reporter is discussing.

Article is what it says on the tin, and includes interviews from people directly involved with Snopes, including Mikkelsen himself.

Investigative

An absolutely crushing investigative report by the BuzzFeed News team that should once and for all that Snopes lacks transparency, has a shady founder/owner, allows tricks and ego into their face-checks, and should never have received as much high praise as it has garnered as a serious fact-checker. This is the kind of reporting that changes industries.
